An Introduction to Oak Tree Gardens ManCo Website

We have only been established for approximately a year. Stop the press! Exciting news: We are introducing our very own Oak Tree Gardens ManCo website. Now giving us the ability to share with residents some additional information and to be made aware of any activities going on, in and around Oak Tree Gardens Hugglescote.

We have a fabulous Oak Tree Gardens Steering Group where we have been able to share thoughts, and then spread the word/ideas, with a number of flyers which were distributed to all of our residents. 

There are a number of different WhatsApp Groups and a FaceBook page but unfortunately not all of our residents have access to these many different social media platforms. making communication with everyone (208 households) extremely difficult. The new ManCo website will be our primary means of communication with all of our members/residents. It is designed to provide access to all of the information that residents need to refer to.

The website has six main sections: About, Services, Communal Spaces, Updates, Resources and Contact Us. All aimed at providing a range of information that residents might be interested in.

There is also a Members option for Registering, logging-in, managing your profile and managing your subscription.

Quick Overview:

We thought that it would be beneficial to provide a quick overview of how the ManCo website is structured.

• ABOUT: In this section you will find details about us, who we are, what we do and meet the board.
• SERVICES: This section focuses on Residents, Operations, Finance, Ecology and Company Secretary. All supported by an experienced Managing Agent.
• COMMUNAL SPACES: In this section you will find details about our Public Open Space, Play Area, Balancing Ponds, Allotments & Community Orchard, Oak Tree Gardens Community Notice Board.
• UPDATES: This important section allows you to keep up-to-date with all communications at Oak Tree Gardens with:
  • BLOG – it looks like you have already discovered this section, by reading this post! This is where we will post articles that might be of interest for residents.
  • NEWS – this section will include any information that we need to share with residents, keeping them informed at all times. This will help us with the difficulties we’ve encountered with communication with all of the members/residents.
• RESOURCES: This is where useful resources and information will be available for residents/members to view. This section will also include Conveyancing and Estate Documentation, FAQ’s, Service Charge Budgets, Votes & Results, Forms.
• CONTACT US: This offers the ability for residents to engage with the ManCo and your volunteer Resident Directors. Perhaps you have some interesting ideas about enhancing the website, or there might be an issue/problem somewhere on the development. Or you might be interested in joining us on the ManCo Board as a volunteer Resident Director. Please remember that the ManCo is volunteer Resident-Led. Now that the ManCo is under resident control it is a company run by residents, for the benefit of all residents at Oak Tree Gardens.
• MEMBERSHIP: There is also a membership-related Options Section. Here you will be able to; Register, Log-In, Manage Your Profile, and Manage Your Subscription.

We expect that there will be additional membership-related capabilities in the future, all aimed at making things easier for residents.
