Public Open Space
The Public Open Space at Oak Tree Gardens benefits from approximately 1.15 Hectares of landscaped, formal and informal space, creating a green framework around half of the estate. We also have a gated meadow “Woodings” which is to retain freehold & enjoyed by dog owners on the estate.
These spaces are primarily areas of short mown grass which are scattered with native trees providing informal amenity space throughout the whole estate. We also have a wildflower meadow which is located adjacent to Berryhill Lane.
There are a number of established trees, together with younger trees & hedgerows which provide a strong framework for the open spaces around the estate.
The open spaces are well linked with a series of footpaths which provide a circular walking route around the site and connect into the wider footpath network.
One of the primary drivers of the Ecology service is to deliver against the Landscape Management Plan, which was set out as part of the approved planning application by the developer.
This defines how the Oak Tree Gardens ManCo needs to maintain the flora on the development, ensuring that it will flourish in the years to come.
The aim is to present an attractive and safe environment for all homeowners, residents and visitors to enjoy.
