What We Do
Our role as Directors of Oak Tree Gardens (Hugglescote) Management Limited is to look after the ‘Open Space Land’, services & standards that help keep our estate in a pleasant, safe and well maintained place to live.

After Bloor Homes have transferred the land to the Management Company. Once we have taken over ownership of the land, we will manage it on behalf of the residents, our community needs to be confident in our ability to protect our local environment.
So, What is it that we are held responsible for?
Maintaining the ‘Open Space Land’ as detailed on the Maintenance Site Map Plan.
We oversee the upkeep of:
- Public open spaces.
- Play areas and all grassed areas.
- Balancing Ponds.
- Allotments.
- Community Orchard.
- grass verges, footpaths and planting schemes.
- Some plot frontage hedges & trees (detailed on Maintenance Site Map Plan).
- Emptying of all general waste litter bins on site.
Appointment of Contractors
We work with our Managing Agent and service providers to:
- Ensure all work is carried out as detailed on the Maintenance Site Map Plan.
- Maintain the ‘Open Space Land’ including all grassed areas, trees, shrubs,& hedges, the allotments & community orchard, wildflower meadow.
- Maintain the effectiveness of the balance ponds.
- Repair and replace assets as & when required.
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of contracted work
- ensure the emptying of all general waste litter bins on site.
Managing Budgets:
We collaborate with our Managing Agent to:
- Set the annual service charge budgets.
- Review actual spend against forecasts.
- Ensure funds are used fairly & transparently.
Upholding Covenants:
We help ensure that all residents comply with the estates’ covenants in the TP1 – Protecting the look & feel of the estate for the benefit of everyone, for now & in the future.
Working with Residents:
We act on feedback, respond to enquiries and aim to support all residents in understanding how the estate is managed by the Management Company.
